Hardware vs Hardware (?)

A friend of mine and I just put money together and bought a
harp. A small one, that has a series of buffers on it that
allow you to make chords easily.

Anyways, lately I have been thinking of enrolling in school,
and taking out a student loan so that I could buy some
musical hardware, and then dropping out. But now the act of
collecting instruments and not ellectronics (and staying
software baised) is starting to appeal to me.
