i heard this remix today on the radio, it was plain dance
music, but sounded kind of nice...that bowie vocal really
fits in fine

anyone knows who is this mix by?

im pretty sure that the "we can be heroes- dance mix" is by
judge jules, cause i also heard it around the same time 26
mixes for chash was being released, guess he was just trying
to ride the sine wave :)

im pretty sure this is the one...

David Guetta vs Bowie - Just For One Day (Virgin)

Ian Jones

UTTERLY simple, utterly stupid and utterly brilliant - for
about 15 minutes.

Guetta provides the most ingenious idea of the summer: take
the one-line chorus from "Heroes", loop to create a 4/4
house beat, add crowd noises and repeat over and over until
firmly drilled into listener's brain.

Originally designed as a kitsch DJ tool to round off
Guetta's electro-house sets, this track emerged through Daft
Punk pestering him to throw it out to the dance clubs.

Predictably the track has been dismissed as sacrilege by
philistines in thrall to the rock canon - "how DARE he do
that to Sir David? - blind to the irony that Guetta's track
is a thousand times more relevant than the worthless dirge
Bowie has discharged in the last twenty years.

If the original Heroes is a Godard movie, Just For One Day
is an advert for Irn Bru - it's ephemeral pop idiocy, just
as all great singles are.

When you hear this on daytime radio you'll cringe at the
preposterous sentiment. But when you've lost your mind on
the dancefloor and this track explodes over the speakers
you'll feel bigger than Russia

i'd really like to find out who's is that track...
it sounds kind of electro - pretty fast tempo and vocal that
constantly goes "dance like a machine"

cool!!!!

just found it...everyone that likes (funky) electro must get
this, brilliant stuf!!!

vitalic "you prefer cocaine"

but i dont think is the original version - i guess its a mix
by someone, so get the version that is 4.46 minutes cos this
is the one containing the sample "dance like a machine"

the original? one is awesome as well tho

I only noticed the other day that the pose adopted by Cex on
Being Ridden is the same as Bowie did on Heroes. What a
homage.

Bowie | Cex
