That's how Harvey Pekar got started, doing stick figure
cartoons. Of course it helps if you're friends with Robert
Crumb and he offers to re-illustrate your stories and get
them published.

Don's stuff is great - there used to be a whack of it online
in flash format but I think they took it down after his
stuff started getting sold in various animation
collections....

no... i just keep a diary where sometimes i write (and
sometimes draw) things passing through my head, an
unfinished "story" with my dreams/fantasms assembled to form
a continuous stuff, and other nonsensical things like the
ones i post on the board sometimes... but that's all.

and i'm very very lazy.
