he listened to. he said he'd been listening to squarepusher
alot.

yeah, so he's into it. do you know any other celebs who like

Stephen Dorff listens to Aphex Twin. You know that guy who
was in Blade and probably other films. Roots Manuva said he
steals ideas from Aphex Twin. "[I'm influenced by] a lot of
electronic stuff like Aphex Twin, that's really mad stuff.
It's too much for me really at times, but I can appreciate a
good bit of programming. I nick ideas from there 'cos I know
nobody ain't listening to that stuff. It's all about
thievery, copyright crime"

i think celeb's are like everyone else, some are more open
minded than other people. i frequently see lil celeb blurbs
about what they are reading or listening to, mostly it's top
40 stuff, but occasionally you see some more INteresting
stuff!

Julius Caesar and the Boston Strangler and Captain Hook and
Joan of Arc and Ingrid Bergman.

I think an obvious one is that thom york likes autechre and
squarepusher, autechre actually rang up radiohead at the
start of their ok computer tour asking to do a remix, and
thom york turned around and said that they should be the
supporting act, saying stuff like "don't worry if the crowd
doesn't like you, you'll be playing for me" but someone had
recently died and things were rather hectic at the time so
that never happened (I was told this by hanal who works at
skam and has known rob since they were youngun's so it is a
reliable source)

one of bjork's favourite albums is 'Eu & Tenzor - Christmas
Baubles And Their Strange Sounds'
which has one of the best covers ever....

I don't know his name, but this young guy who is on some
network sitcom here in the US was doing an interview (for
Entertainment Tonight or something) and mentioned that he
listens to alot of Aphex Twin... he also had a
davidlynch.com t-shirt on :P

I remember seeing an interview with Johnny Depp mentioning
aphex as one of his favorites. I've always liked his movies.
If only Tim Burton or Terry Gilliam or Kubrick (if he wasn't
dead) could make a movie with new material from autechre,
sqpshr, aphex...then again who cares.

Depp is definitely someone who is into obscure music. I
recall an interview where he spoke about stuff he was into
and thought that was cool. Pretty difficult personality in a
way but a personality nonetheless.
