Plaid is boring, too polite, blackdog 'bytes' is their
pinnacle.

I do, however, in general agree with this statement.

I'm not a fan. although I do quite like "Spokes".

Well obviously you've all almost entirely failed to be
heterosexual on the matter apart from the screaming eXX
genetaliaman. Dont call Plaid boring youve just got to find
the right moment for it. I find Double Figure fills the gap
between real music and ambient just perfectly, much in the
way a sock perfectly fills the gapp betweenn shoee and
foott.

better than double figure.

top of that i enjoy trainer much more, fucking awesome
album, its such a ride, like the moving shadow's 10th
anniversary cd, taking you through the years

nah...plaid's a good solid electro band

heard spokes yet... actually i sort of forgot about it
because it doesn't seem like it has been mentioned much
lately. has everyone has forgotten about it before it is
even released?

plaid are very good, but the whole eye d em community
seems to shun them. why? they're nice when you want
something relaxed but not as far as ambient. double figure
is awesome. i dont know. what is about them that people
dislike? imho, BoC are the ones that make the inoffensive
music. (i like that also but they always use the same
fecking forumla)

i dont like them, the sound of them or something.
i got a friend of mine to buy it though
i'd heard not for threes and the, before last one, out of
2001, and said: dude buy those, so he bought that first one,
and liked it, and has ordered other stuff, maybe spokes,
which i might like then

My friend found an advance copy of Spokes at a record shop.
We listened to the whole cd in my car on the way home, and I
was not very impressed. I think I'll just forget I ever
heard anything after Rest Proof Clockwork.

Great band, great albums, if you think Bytes was their
pinnacle Jivver you're just showing your age, Morton we KNOW
you don't like them although maybe you could do with
actually listening to some of their other stuff. Spokes I
agree with Phresch, it's extremely disapointing but their
other stuff is fantastic, if you want fucking drill look
elsewhere obviously, like DUH
