Utterly horrible, I was a very huge fan of his works. But
his spirit will live on, the Man in Black was always to cool
and true to himself to go unnoticed.

Respect

i didnt i just thought i'd heard he'd died earlier on. it's
like an identified flash back, because i believe that's how
it works. besides the quantumfysics explanation a friend of
mine told me about.

yessir, that dead old man in black.

It's especially sad because even at 71 he was still making
strong contributions to music.

I read his autobiography "Cash" over the summer, it was
really inspiring. I recommend it.

American IV: The Man Comes Around

not his best work, but it's very heartfelt and powerful.
especially if you're already a cash fan, and are familliar
with his older more wild and rebelious works.

I've sat here for 10 minutes trying to type something to
summarize how amazing this man was.

All I can say is that I'm profoundly sad this day has come.
May God bless you Johnny Cash.

he probably had a lot of things. comes from a hard life of
drug & alcohol abuse.

but he was diagnosed with Parkinson's, diabetes and
Shy-Drager syndrome.

The newspaper said he died because it was some complications
around his diabetes

Baptist Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, hospital
spokeswoman Nicole Bates said. He had just been released
Wednesday after entering the hospital August 25 with an
undisclosed stomach ailment."

damn. everyone knew it wouldn't be long, but still, it's
making me more and more sad as the day goes on. he seemed
like the kind of guy that everyone would enjoy hanging out
with regardless of age, musical taste or beliefs. i realize
everybody's got to go, but the world is a little less cool
today than it was yesterday.
