A thought on killing

I came to this thought today. I read that Anna Lindh died
from the wounds and I felt sorry for her. And then I asked
myself why? Why do I feel sorry for her? I know nothing
about her, nothing about politics, and I quite new in
Sweden.
Then it came to me: I felt sorry for her because she was
famous. Not in the harsh and commercial way that it sounds,
but compared to bomb-killings and mass destruction, I felt a
lot more sorry for John Lennon or other famous persons that
died.
The reason is, that I feel that people who are famous have
achieved something in life. And with that I feel sorry
because they lost it all due to life's ruffness.
This is just sad.

killing people/persons is wrong, PERIOD, regardless if
they're innocent or guilty.

both you and I know that (at least for islamic
fundamentalists/terrorists), death is no punishment.
Actually, they concider it an honour to die, and spend all
eternity in paradise (although paradise is a load of
horseshit of course).

How can society in general condemn the act of killing, while
it's own government approves of it? Double standard.

I think it's crazy. But to me, she's just any other innocent
person being murdered. I mean it's sad, but she's not any
special to me...
E.g. today a five year old girl was murdered at (pre-)school
in Arvika, which I find -even more- sad. A five year old
girl.
fuck it's a crazy world.

I don't believe in violence. bye (I'm off to eat some food).

eh. The five year old girl = it's not more sad (like I wrote
in my previous post), I was just more shocked to hear she
was murdered (the way she was).
But it's basically the same. And I don't know anyone of
them.
but it's sad, yes it is. ok off to food.

i dont mourn over ones that i didnt know. its a sad thing,
but the ones ill really worry about are the people and
animals i know. like september 11, it was a huge shock
because of how it happened and how many people died. since
i didnt know anybody though im not gonna go out of my way to
mourn over it. i got my own future to worry about. hey, im a
nice guy, right?

Yeah, it sure is really sad. I live like 500 meters from the
place she got stabbed. It's a small city, so it feels really
close...i don't know her family butt still. nobody deserves
to die at five years of age.
