I haven't even seen Dolls yet and already Takeshi has a new
movie out in Japan!

Trailer here:

My friend's just seen it and says it's amazing!

Go see that film, its amazing, most wonderul use of colour
and stillness! A true masterpiece (but not as good as hana
bi).

Hana bi's the most stunning film I think I've ever seen..
Especially when you know a little about Takeshi's life
leading up to it - Near death experience and everything -
Very deep & moving film.

movies.

cant wait to see this...
dolls was brilliant...i saw it about a year ago, i was
trying to get a dvd for a long time after that...finally
managed to get it about a month ago...and luckly enough
they're showing it in our theatres again - im not going to
miss it as its much better on big screen, because of all the
beautiful colors and scennery

Hmm, looks a bit cheesy to me, dozens of japanese dudes
prancing around with fuck off swords and silly dance
sequences. I prefer Kitano when he deals with subjects that
are closer to home: gangstas.

A good friend of mine, another big takeshi fan, has just
seen Zatoichi in Japan and says it's one of the best Takeshi
movies he's seen yet... Apparently there's some mad computer
animation in there too - Digitized blood and things!

Takeshi Miike's Ichi The Killer is gonna be another must
see!

www.ichithekiller.com

Looks absolutely insane!
