"beautronics" is lower-fi, and simple. but very popular with fans due to it's unique sound and melodies. to me, a bit spotty but i mention it because so many isan fans love it.
my recommendations:
"lucky cat" is more consistent than "beautronics", though it leans more towards an ambient downtempo feel, with stronger compositions fleshing out their unique analogue sound. not melancholy, but like a sunday with puffy grey clouds. one of the best recordings i own.
"salle d'isan" is an ep with a mix of downtempo and more upbeat (for isan) tracks, with a tint of childhood sweetness and playfulness. excellent.
imo, "salamander," "clockwork menagerie," and "digitalis" are too spotty to recommend. but if you like the above, you'll probably end up buying them anyway.

spotty = inconsistent quality, a mix of good and weak tracks
