Anyone watching the Pres address the nation. What a nice,
thoughtfull man. Its obvious he thinks everything through
and is always one step ahead. You go Bush! Thanks for
everything. See you in hell.

He's just started, but he mentioned afganistan and he is
twisting the truth, lying, and reading straight off a
telepromter. Saying shit how this war has been the most
humane war ever.

ah, what else is new :)
I bet he had some great arguments and God bless america.
(not that it shouldn't be blessed, but with GWB saying it,
it sounds like a fucking joke - No God would ever bless that
man, no-oo way, José)

He is using 9/11 to justify all this. Then like a hypocrite
he said that "No longer will the Iraqi's fear a ruler with
weapons of mass destruction." Oh and what the fuck are you
Bush? You seem to fit this description also.

OK first off
Bush *is* a cunt and he is probably lying his ass off....

But nopne of us know the true story behind it all, WE can't
really say he's lying coz none of us have actually been part
of all sides.

Disagree if you want but I don't like political threads so
I'm not gonna come back to read the replies.

surprises me deeply. (I guess that makes me as bad as him,
if that's even possible..)

The big problem is they are so thirsty for oil they've been
neglecting North Korea. You think Kim Jong Il doesn't notice
how the US's troops are so tied up they're reduced to
begging for help from the UN? Now's a good time for him to
make his move.

about the bush govment. get people informed so that monster
doesn't get re-elected. there's many things to inform. the
lies about iraq/afghanistan and 9/11. the collapsing economy
of the united states along with highest rates of uneployment
ever. the enron and halliburton frauds, the energy crisis.
the PNAC, how dick cheney, rumsfeld and co. are getting rich
while the nation's getting poorer... you name it.

weatheredstoner,

Oh pipe down. Iraq was a just war, has been and always will
be. However post Iraq hasn't been handled well. Blair
doesn't know jack and well Bush is a bit green in this
respect. The whole thing post war has been handled badly.
Some figurehead such as the previous King needed to be put
in place with American/British backing and then we get the
hell out of there. Then the King can act as figurehead and
call for free elections.

Fact is half of Iraq are unappreciative, like it or not we
saved them from a tyrrant and untold misery. And a lot of
money is and has been ploughed into Iraq and they ought to
be grateful. That said the way things have been handled post
war has been pretty amateurish but I can't say that for this
part of it I'm too surprised. Bush means well and has my
backing but he needs to get his strategy right because
ploughing another $80 odd billion into Iraq is a mistake.
And well Blair he is just a befoon.

I would be unappreciative too if people barged into my
country, shouting how they're going to save my people, get
rid of the evil dictator (which doesn't make us all go "yay"
instantly because, frankly, we don't trust anyone anymore
since that same dictator) and then kind of do nothing.

it's like taking the cancerous growth out but no sowing the
body back up.

and the idea of a "just war" is kind of proposterous.

war exists outside of normal ethical codes - that's the big
problem with war. everything goes topsy-turvy.

Sweden is next on the invasion list. Did you know Sweden was
thinking about making an atombomb in the 50's. They even had
designs for a modified J35 Draken fighter, that was supposed
to deliver the package. Outgoing East with no return adress

that depends on how convinced you are that we are truely
heading into deadly waters.

there is activism in protesting, just talking to people
about it.

organize a group to have your town ban the Patriot Act.

Hand out leaflets at public gatherings

You can take hostages.

---------
the limit to what you can do depends on how you feel. If
you are just armchair bitching, (not you specfically, to
everyone who might do it) then put up or shut up.

Get out there and change the voters minds, take prisoners,
do what the situation demands, but never give up your
freedom to do just that.

if you do, then you have already lost.

Listening to Bush's public appearences is like listening a
psychopath I once knew - in most cases all you have to do is
twist the meaning of what he's saying to the exact
opposite.

"Well, there are some guys out there trying to rewrite
history"

"Well, we have been trying to rewrite history for some time
now"

I truly believe that if Bush gets a second term in office we
(most of the world) will be in serious trouble... Dennis
Kucinich seems like a good alternative.

I feel sorry for people on the board. Do you realise that it
was only after World War 2 ended that we had any real idea
of how bad the attrociaties of the death camps were. Just
imagine if we had just taken a passive view. And yes Great
Britain probably could have because quite frankly Germany
had no real interest in Great Britain, in fact they really
were seeking an alliance with us and didn't really want to
go to war with Britain. So for pussys there was plenty of
excuse not to go war. So just imagine if we had taken the
cop out route. Even back then losers were looking for any
excuse to avoid war. I just don't get it why you can't get
it why people can't get it through their thick skulls that
you cannot allow dictators and such to rape their countries
and get away with it. They have to be dealt with whether it
be Hitler, Saddam, Mugabe or some other nut.
