I just bought a very nice 17 inch flat screen LCD HDTV made
by Phillips (I'm such a consumer whore). So far I have my
ps2 and cable tv hooked up, but what do you need to get the
HDTV working? The HDTV looked fucking awesome when I viewed
it at the store, I was watching some underwater thing on PBS
and the entire episode looked almost 3-d, like it's an
actual window on a wall. Anyone know how much these supposed
'hdtv box' costs?

You either need a decoder, if the unit is HDTV ready but
doesn't have one built in, or you need to connect it to an
antenna.
