yes! in the same small but oh so cosy venue where amon tobin performed not too long ago, luke vibert is coming to rock the house. first time i'll see him, and i'm expecting a rather wicked night, as i dont recall having ever read a gig review that didnt have the words 'fucking excellent' in it. weird thing is, i never found anything announcing this gig. not on warp, not on ninjatune or planet mu. or maybe i just missed it. anyways, its on www.doornroosje.nl woohoo! |

sweet jesus.. first: his latest release 'i love acid' then mixed in an afx saw1 track i think heliosphan ?! squarepusher, fucking wicked shit, drum &bass dillinja, all kinds of breakbeats, aphex again, drum&bass again. christ, it was good. i told myself i had to shake his hand. he walked by a few times and i thought he left but he came back so i did and i muttered somethin like 'hey luke wicked set thanks man see you again' or something. i didnt care for sounding like a fucking fanboy. this was fucking great. for those who are going to see him, have a shitload of fun. i'm dead, goodnite. |
