marlowe's monthly rant : children

Children. What chance do they have? They act the roles
they've been moulded to act, and they are brought up being
told either they're special or they're worthless, they
aren't educated properly or nobly, they aren't taught any
values, they are totally fucked. I don't see a rosy future
for the children. I see a life of shallow luxury,
brain-eating entertainment, and lives bereft of real
achievement.

They only need enough food, shelter and training to become
cogs in the corporate machine. Which even now is run mostlly
as an outpatient prison system. Give them enough
entertainment to keep them distracted too.

After everything is automated to the satisfaction of the
powerful, the excess humanity can be, oh I dunno, bulldozed
into mass graves or something.

children have irritating schreechy little voices.

they should wear a kind of voicetransformer, pitching their
voices down automatically.

:D ! then the rich kids could have sets that add delay and
reverb to their voices ! or you could have a stutter FX and
sound like an IDM vocal track :D

Here's my rant: It annoys me that they ask trivia questions
in movie theatres in between the advertisements before the
movie starts. People play along, trying to aswer the
questions, not realizing that the trivia game is a ploy to
get you to pay attention to the advertisements.

Those trivia questions between the advertisements before the
movies at movie theatres are da bomb.

They give me a chance to show off my wide knowledge of the
cinema :)

I kid, it's not brilliant but it's better than the average
slacker.

I actually kind of like children, I'm good with them and
they like me. But some of them are gross and I don't trust
their hands when they use my video games, who knows where
they've been.

I belive it's only in UCI cineams. I could have the chain
wrong though. It's certainly not Cineworld as the two
nearest cinemas to me are them and they don't do it.

xammax: I'm proud to say I get 100% on those quizzes
