342. ARGUMENT FROM WHAT MAKES SENSE

1) Doesn't it just MAKE MORE SENSE that an all-knowing,
all-powerful, all-good deity created the world out of
nothingness, essentially from magic, and then punished us
for eating a piece of fruit, and then incarnated himself in
human flesh and came down to shed his own blood so he could
break his own rules, and then went through hell on a
temporary basis and then went back into the sky and promised
to come back and take everyone who believed in him to this
heaven that no one has ever seen?
2) Well, doesn't it?
3) Therefore, God exists.

[from the canonical list of arguments for god]

God is the Devil and the Devil is God, its all a game. he is
one of both. and made to influence the good and the bad that
we need to ballance our lives.. through psycho sematic
instances we feel the " presance" but that is all it is. and
the glass isnt half empty or half full, its neither for
long....

35. ARGUMENT FROM INCOMPLETE DEVASTATION

(1) A plane crashed killing 143 passengers and crew.
(2) But one child survived with only third-degree burns.
(3) Therefore, God exists.

If I were to take a pen and a stack of paper and throw both
against a wall over and over again. How many times would it
take until I formed a...

a) complete word
b) complete sentence
c) small novel

Even if this were to happen, how many new stacks of paper
would it take to get a novel without any break or error in
the continuity of the storyline?

glasse, if you use that to explain why it is more likely
that there is a intellegent creater to all of this, your
example proves the point of evolution, that it is a (too
some extent)random process, and the world(and universe) as
it is now is just one of those possible outcomes(like the
possible outcome of a novel)..no matter how small the chance
that something may happen, it is always a variable in that
it could happen..so the way the world is now is just the way
it did happen, coudlve have been very different but it
wasnt...so..yeah
