Mine is Since I Left You by The Avalanches... this cd is
just so addicted, and is definitely one of my favorites in
general... it's like one non-stop party mix of great, funky
music... gotta love it!!

hehe, anyone remember that song by a couple rappers that
sampled a part of the song Black Cow by Steely Dan... the
video featured the rappers in this baseball park or
something... anyways, I remember seeing the episode of
classic albums about the cd Aja, and while they're talking
about Black Cow, with it playing in the background, Donald
Fagon starts singing "Uptown baby, uptown baby" you know,
from the rap song... it's funny... and this story is
pointless I know, cause no one here probably knows either
song!

i love "black cow" and the hip-hop song you're talking about
is lord tariq & peter gunz "de ja vu (uptown baby)", for
which steely dan sued them for $400,000 because they did not
clear the sample.

Think: most incredible music ever written, with samples of
women climaxing the whole way through!?! Just too much!!

For some reason, TIME OUT OF MIND by Bob Dylan cheers me up
. It's the saddest album ever, you can't top it, but all of
his introspection, in the end, makes me happy. I'm sure
Dylan made it that way, it can only cheer you up by him
going "Well, you know kid, it could always be worse".
Highlands gives that message, in the end.

"Well, my heart's in the highlands at the break of day

Over the hills and far away

There's a way to get there and I'll figure it out somehow

Well, I'm already there in my mind, and that's good enough
for now. "

Wow :-O
