Miles Davis recorded (and played live) an incredible version
of "Time after time". One of his last amazing feast before
dying.

Cassandra Wilson does a decent Time after time too... Sort
of a vocal version of Miles'

hehe amazing feast!

the miles cover version is pretty bad actually.. it's like
elevator music

Noooo! Never say this again, NEVER write again what Miles
has done is elevator music. I mean, this is how pop-Jazz
music sounded in 1985, when the album was released. You
have to remember, Miles never compromised, he never stopped
to evolute his music. So it may look dated, but it's always
incredible.

Arrrrrrrrrrrrhgghgghgh!!!!!!! ;)

It's as its best on the "The Complete Miles Davis at
Montreux 1973-1991" package, which is 20-CD but of course
it's very much worth it and ages ahead of anything remotely
Jazz. "Time after time" and Michael Jackson's Human Nature
can also be found, live, on the "Live in Montréal"
video/DVD.

;)

i really like the way Miles Davis covered
Human's Nature... simple but beautiful.

I downloaded the Miles Davis version of 'time after time'
and it was pretty lame.
