wow, great track, at first i thought it was going to be a nice soothing track but after 2.10 it took me down a totally different path. Has anyone heard/got 'War of the Worlds' on LP, its got that sort of chilling feel to it in parts. Love the vomiting at the end, just gave it that special touch :) |

thanks guys. my favorite part is the vomitting. the music video's gonna be some guy, and the happy beginning 2.10 will be his happy life. then he'll get fucked up on drugs and alcohol and the rest of the song will be all trippy. the last shot will be things back to normal with him puking over a toilet. |

hey, really great fucking track. it has a very regal sound to it. but also very tragic. i especially like the use of reverb to give all the guitar sounds that really large blarring full sound. and i like how some of the guitar goes a little off key and flat sometimes. adds to the melloncholly (spelling?) sound of the track. it reminds me of maybe sigur ros or early joy division. the simple drum machine sound is good too. obviously artificial but not out of place. you got it nestled in there so it doesn't distract. my only criticizm would be with the title of the track. i think it sort-of sabotages the seriousness of the track. but hey, title or not. this is a really good track. the vomiting fits in there pretty good though. it reminds me of the scene in Requiem for a Dream where Jennifer Connely is giving that smack dealer the B.J. then goes outside and pukes. i really like this track. great work! |
