i downloaded an .exe pack with about 400 roms, but it
turned out that most of them didn't work. are there any good
sites where i can get (working) roms, or do i have to search
on Kazaa/Soulseek?

I had a look at the few sites I used to get all mine off and
they all have, unfortunately, gone the way of the
pay-per-rom/bullshit wankshite. I hope you find the path,
sir. And I left courrone earlier btw because you're a spawny

hey buddy,

I really recommend www.mame.dk, just be sure of what
version you have of the roms, they change constantly with
the current version of the MAME emulator

I love MAME, I wish I could help, my brother could but I
just bought 6 CDs full of MAME roms for $5 and that was it.

I was checking out www.mame.dk and it knocks the shit out of
romnation. Downloads soimetimes take a few seconds to start
but hey if you're downloading games you already have too
much time on your hands.

Some of my favorites:

Black Tiger
Blockout
Bubble Bobble 1 and 2
Dragon Breed
Gyruss
In the Hunt
Magic Sword
Snow Bros
Splatter House
Strider
Xmen
Xybots

Xybots is especially cool - I would have included Disks of
Tron but it's impossible to play without the original rotary
control that has like an up/down plunger action to aim up
and down.
