I love a lot of Moby's music. I like his video's. I don't
care what the rest of you think. He is a talented musician,
more talented than the majority of electronic artists out
there but sadly it has become popular to bash him. He
caused a lot of the bad feeling himself by speaking out
against the prodigy and eminem etc. but he has never done
anything REALLY bad.

HAHAHA scratch that baldy twat. I can't stand his music.

Since when did being drug-free make someone 'honourable"?

1 - he's a fucking hypocrite (big time naturalist etc but is
prepared to licence his music to adverts for cars etc)

2 - he's a cock

3 - his music is shit

i don't care much for this remix (LFO said it was all warp's
doing) but i must admit, moby does some amazing synthwork
(the sappy sad/beautiful variety) and some of his earlier
albums are excellent.. i just can't stand to listen to them
anymore cos of who the guy became and what he did with his
talent (ran it dry, became product)

"Play" is the only album (aside from film soundtracks etc.)
ever to have every track on it used in an advert/tv
show/film.

This release was back in the early 90s, circa Go! when he
had a bit more credability. I do like a lot of his stuff,
the album "Everything is Wrong" is very good and Thousand
and Go! are classics.

Well I actually thought naturalist where those people who
walked around without any clothes on. But given his
propensity for shagging, which is the most natural act after
shitting and peeing I would class that as naturalism.

Shit I wrote a lot of stuff I didn't mean last night :P

I used to HATE Moby. Got a track of his on a compilation I
got when I was 12: "Dance Hits 2". A double CD full of 2
Unlimited, Dr. Alban and all that shite. Moby's Hymn was on
it. I always skipped that track (when I used to listen to
that godawful crap collection of "music")

Then I liked him for a short while when Play originally came
out, then after it was milked like crazy I got bored again
and now I just don't care what he does.

Seems a nice enough bloke.

it's just music.

there's something about moby wchich makes me going crazy
when i hear his music. even 18. i can't explain that, but
his songs have some special effect on my mind. and everybody
hates or ignore moby. after the recent glastonury he
followed the NME journo in benicassim in spain and asked him
why moby isn't mentioned in glastonbury issue (he was on the
main stage, and nme wrote about the doves as headliners on
main stage. moby really wasn't mentioned). they told him
taht doves are indie and he is not.

Moby on Warp, what an insult! Why don't we just all quit
music and go and dance at a gay club. Moby on Warp is
basically the same thing. To even contest with such playas
as Aphex, Autechre, BOC, Squarepusher, and Prefuse makes me
sick. But it only makes sense in this fucked up bull shit
time of music we live in. Where everything gay is
considered straight and everything straight is few and far
between. To sum up my incoherent ramblings...Moby on
Warp...give me a dildo and I'll go fuck myself.

I've said it before (several times), and I'll keep saying it
until someone agrees with me, and probably after that too,
that Moby's stuff might be high on cheese and low on
originality, but the Moby remix of Greyhound by the Jon
Spencer Blues Explosion is still f'kin ace.
