I have a new track...this is from day 6 with Cubase and about 4 hours. I would really appreciate comments on this one as it is something I actually like :D |

well it sounds alot like track two from LP5 by autehcre...too much like it for my tastes... sorry it sounds like alot of work went into it though... |

i really like the noise and textures in this track - sort of reminds me a bit of Jega. your melodies are nice and dark as usual. and those weird robotic distorted voices are a nice touch. delicious and savagely dark, sir. nice ending too. |

short and sweet. it's on the verge of being too chaotic for me...but that's kinda cool at the same time. and i'd say you chose a good time to end it...about another 30 seconds and i'd be wondering where the hell it was going. all in all, very nicely done. cheers. =] |

Cheers for listening :) I was trying to get a feeling of chaos without it being too random. I think I sort of managed. The first time I listened to it this morning it sounded too mental but if you listen to it a few times you pick up on the structure. I suppose it is obviously influenced by autechre, but I didn't set out to emulate any particular track of theirs, I was trying to come up with something myself and it just ended that way... |

Sounds very electric and vocoderish. A bit too chaotic for me though. The stream was cutting out every 10 seconds so that annoyed me :) -P |

IT'S OFFICIAL THREE PEOPLE HAVE NOW COMPARED IT TO GEOMETRY BY JEGA (which I still haven't heard :P) And seeing as many of you have said that is a good album, does that mean I have at last made a good track? |

Nah only messing. I don't know since zebox started charging :D You could always pay yuour $10 to phobia and then use the artist section of this site when it is up and running (I dunno when that will be though :) ) |

Nah I didn't enter the competition because I knew I wasn't good enough :P Personally it is no big deal to me if autechre listen to my stuff or not. They obviously know about this site, so if they were genuinely interested in hearing what people here can do they have the opportunity any time. I still think it is good of them to do this competition thing, but at the time the competition was run I had only been making music for a few months so it really wasn't worth my while. Some of the remixes are very good and I still couldn't get anywhere near that level. |

its a bit too chaotic for me, but it deffinitely sounds like you put a lot of work into it. i like how it ends with those tones. |

It's really not that chaotic you know...you just have to listen to it a few times and you will see the patterns :D |
