Man, there is a really close poll between Crono and mario.
The difference is only like a fraction of a percent.

I don't know though - Mario has been around longer and his
games have done far more for gaming as a whole. While i do
consider Chrono Trigger to be one of the FINEST rpgs ever
made, Mario's games have laid the foundations for genres.
And plus, Mario is just so damned likable. Sorry, but I
gotta vote for Mario - the guy raised me.... LITERALLY.

regardless, I'd have to go with oddio, for mostly the same
sentimental reason-- I mean mario was like my good friend
when I was a kiddle.

So I think Chrono won? Chrono Trigger is my favorite game of
all time (and the only poster I have on my wall is the one
that came with the game, been in the same place since '95),
but I thought Mario was second only to Link in popularity...
pleasant surprise.

Link will probably win it all, AGAIN.

It's funny how character with literally NO charisma or
personality always win it... Mario/Link/Samus and... well,
Crono to an extent, because he never SPEAKS... I mean, we
don't even know what they're like, zero characterization.
But it's more of a popularity contest for the GAMES, and
that's more important anyway.

ok this has nothing to do with the innards of this thread,
but i have signed up here recently on the messageboards
and.....

it's so chaotic. people actually use signatures (which i
can't stand) and well i'm guessing the age average is around
14. i don't know how long i'm going to last.
