i would just delete the folder that it is in if you dont
need/ want it anymore (whatever it is) . If it is something
that keeps popping up and appearing in places then you might
need to delete some registry items also.

go to the folder where this program is located and see if
you can find an uninstall exe file

maybe the remove app is in the actual programfolder where
you installed it or via the the programfolder in the start
menu.

Right click the START button, then choose Explore, then
delete the shortcuts, this will remove the icons from the
menu

if you delete if the shortcuts as chris said, and delete the
foler and all contents then was installed with it then there
will be nothing to clog up your system. However if your pc
keeps trying to open it up or find it (some shitty free
programs have a habbit of doing this) then you will need to
take further action

even if you delete the shortcut and the program there is
often still information in the registry

go into "run" and type "regedit" and it'll take you to a
tree of all different things,.. look around until you find
the programs, and fuck em off

But be carefull you don't delete anything else in the
registry......nasty place to just delete things without
thinking properly!

i use a nice little util called regcleaner. you can delete
programs from the uninstall menu that wont uninstall because
of whatever reason, it also cleans OLEs from the registry
that are redundant and will also get rid of registry entries
that don't point to anything
