If Aliens counts as a horror movie, then that. I haven't
seen a lot of horror movies though.

Alien (though I consider it more sci-fi), Dawn of the Dead,
The Shining, Halloween, A Nightmare on Elm Street,
Nosferatu, Psycho, Event Horizon (good call Obdliobonder),
Rosemary's Baby, and every Jason movie times ten.

and yes Event Horizon is great. Watched it again tonight.

Has no one here seen Altered States or Dog Soldiers? AWESOME
films.

Also, add PSYCHO (the original) to my list as well. Great
film - a trendsetter. It STILL scares me.

i keep hearing that the hills have eyes is incredibly
frightening...and it's one of wes craven's few good
moments...however, i'm yet to see it? can anyone give any
input here?

actually it's quite good. it's one of the better modern
werewolf films i've seen to date. super fucking violent -
and it has a few evil dead-ish one-liners but not enough to
make it hokey.

i highly recommend it. you'll be surprised.

yeah - just e-mail me your addy and i might just send a data
disc with mp3s - does two complete loops of each track
satisfy you? (like the final fantasy chronicles music disc
was?)

Yeah, it's pretty good... I dunno about ''incredibly
frightening'', but it's a bit of a minor classic I guess...
reminds me of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, cannibals, the
country, etc. I still haven't seen Last House on the Left
though.

The title is extremely creepy, though... The Hills Have
Eyes... shiver me timbers.

what's that new werewolf movie that's coming out soon (or is
our already...i can't remember)? i hear it's supposed to be
pretty good.

i love using samples from horror movies when i play live,
last time i used samples from hellraiser, exorcist, the
shining, candyman and a few others. I want to make a horror
flick in the future and mix my own sounds to it, be fun. Me
and my girlfriend have a few ideas for scripts rollin round.

-Event Horizon (kicks ass when your drunk)
-The Ring
-The Shining
-Brainscan
I can't remember anymore. the evil dead movies would be on
my list, but those are hardly horror movies.

"Bad Taste" by Pater Jackson is a classic gore and laugh
horror flick. He also did "Braindead." Which is a must see.
I think he went on to do some Ring lord series or something
but i only watch mainstream movies. . .

The Blair Witch Project

Lots of votes for The Exorcist.. I find it laughable, more
of a comedy now than a horror.
