i use juno platinum, but my mom uses MSN, and in relation to
connection time and speed it isn't much better than AOL.

did you try changing access numbers? most of the time it
helps - with some ISPs.

yes - try changing the number you use to dial-up to the
internet. a lot of times numbers in bigger cities are a lot
more congested, hence slower connection.

for instance, i live in fort worth. there are several fort
worth access numbers, but of course everyone in FW uses
them. However, I pick a number to a smaller area, like
Euless, and thus get a better connection.
