Only in Wales:

A KITTEN had its head bitten off by a burly farm worker at a
family barbecue.
Children screamed in horror as blood spurted from the
two-week-old pet named Tabby. Owner Karen Kemp, 46, said:
"Everyone in the street was invited to the barbecue. We are
all friendly, it's something we do quite often.

"My cat recently had a litter of kittens and we were showing
them to people.

"Afterwards they wandered off and a chap picked little Tabby
up and put her head in his mouth. He bit down and blood
spurted everywhere.

"When I realised what happened I was so angry, I tried to
hit him. But he said if I didn't stop, he would bite my head
off too.

"I am disgusted someone could behave like that. It was
obviously cruel to the kitten but it was also horrible for
the children who saw it."

Karen added: "Everyone was furious with him and he ran off
with the body of the kitten." Police were yesterday hunting
the man who is in his mid 30s and weighs about 20 stone. He
fled from the barbecue in Llanelli, West Wales, after the
killing.

Karen said: "It won't take police long to pick him up.
People know who he is and his name has been given to them."

Insp Tom Edwards said: "A woman was physically sick after
seeing the kitten killed in such a horrific way. Children
were screaming and upset. It was an extremely depraved
act."

times. But it's nice to read about stories like this to
prove that you're not as zany as you thought you were. That
