Hey, Pomme De Terre

I was just wondering if you've had any feedback regarding
your track on Radiohead's Loophole page?

I noticed there's a link from the tracks inviting people to
send comments etc.

I've heard they get over 300,000 hits a day. That's a huge
potential audience.

I was just wondering if you've had any, s'all.

funny cause alot are in french because of my frenchie name..

they are saying. but yeah ive probably got about 30 or so..

thanks for asking. :) too bad i do not have a website or
something to reference them too.. its still neat that my
name is up there.

cheers

Cool. You never know, some sort of opportunity may arise
from the exposure. Fingers crossed.

My website was linked from their site a few years back.
Ended up getting around 100 hits a day from there. Shame I
wasn't selling anything. ; )

didn't you get some kind of recorddeal already, pomme?

I remember you posting something like that quite a while
ago.

Yeah, turns out I was bamboozled.

Since the offer, I have received no further emails and no
response to email. Plus, the record companies website hasn't
been updated once since then (like April). It's strange,
maybe the guy died or something?

I should make a post about that cause a few people have been
asking.

Yeah.. just checked, no updates to their site since
February.

At first I thought maybe they all-the-sudden thought my demo
sucked, but it looks like nothing has happened with any of
the other artists on their roster either.

Of no consequence. This just gives me the opportunity to
work on my true love; posting on xltronic and eating
delicious cereals.

impressive.

*BUMP*

What's happened to your entry, Pomme?

They haven't replaced the first entries yet, but yours is no
longer up there.

What gives?

well.. the deadline for submissions for the new contest is
today. i emailed them if i had to delete my track to submit
the new one or what (the upload system they have is kinda
fucked)...

I wanted to be sure the new one had a shot at the new
competition so I just deleted my first upload.. turns out it
deletes it off the main entry page and I have no way to get
it back up there. :\

Oh well.. there will be a new pomme track up there soon,
muaahahahaha... (hopefully)

That's kinda interesting that you noticed that it was gone.
Is radiohead.com your homepage or something? :)

Nah, it's not my homepage -
www.fatchickswithhairynipples.com is!

I knew a new batch of winners was meant to go up today and I
was just checking to see if they were. Noticed yours wasn't
up there.

I'm still in the process of doing my remix - it's taken me
this long to get an 8 bar loop sorted... I'm a slow worker.

I think just the judging happens today and the winners won't
go up for another week or so (from what I understand).

"These tracks will be up until September 9th, when we will
replace them with 20 more that we like."

I read that as the first lot of tracks being replaced with
new ones today.

Doesn't matter really, they ain't up yet and that's that.

hmm.. if i missed some sort of invisible deadline I'll pee
my pants with sadness. I stayed up past my bedtime working
on that track.

Just got this message:

Hi there!

Your loophole track : pomme de terre - francis geigh iii
which has been on radiohead.com for a month or so now, is
due to be taken down in a few hours to make way for a new
set of tracks.

Although this track will not be featured again for download
at the Loophole during the competition, you are allowed to
submit more tracks, and they will be judged along with
everything else - they won't receive any different
treatment. Once the track has been taken down from the
download page, you are free to log into the Loophole
Submissions page again and delete it if you need the space
to upload more.

Congratulations on all your hard work and for making it as a
winner! By the way, you may be interested to know that your
track was downloaded 3944 times during the time it was up
for download.

Thanks once again,
w.a.s.t.e.
