Ghosts'n'Goblins

Would any of you game fiends out there know where I could
download a PC friendly version of Ghosts'n'Goblins?
Preferably not a C64 or arcade version that requires an
emulator. Just a simple PC version that I can use......

Thanks!

Why not use an emulator? You can download a perfectly fine
emulator here! The CCS64. I've been using it for
years....

Check the links at the bottom of the page and you'll soon
find G'n'G for download.

I was a bit wary of emulators as a friend of mine said he
downloaded one that messed up his hard drive. Maybe he was
just unlucky?
Anyways, if you say that one is fine maybe I'll give it a
go.
Cheers!

I didn't like the idea of using an emulator either -basicaly
because I found them too complicated to use- but the ccs64
is easy to use and I've never had any problems so knock
yourself out! It's GREAT fun playing those old games
again!!! My fave is Fort Apocalypse!

emulators are the groove!
The only sad thing is that they aren't the REAL deal! and
you can never get the real deal, cause there's a certain
feeling to the hardware, etc aswell. you know.

Anyway... I dig my amigaemulators myself... I use amiga in a
box on the winuae and for the good old c64 I use CCS64.

have you tried the recently released (this year I think) GBA
version?, I think that could be one of the hardest games
I've ever played.

is it harder than the original?

it certainly felt like it when I played it,

I put countless coins into the arcade machine when I was a
little choppa and I've also played the c64 and snes versions
sans NES, but when I played the latest GBA remake I couldn't
get past the first stage for what seemed like hours,
incredible,
