after seeing this title just now, i realize i've always kind of ignored it, but now that i think about it.. it's really fitting in a way.. but it's become so much more than a temporary board, at least during my time here.. there's such a tightly knit fabric of friendship and diverse shared interests between the members here, regardless of age, nationality, or level of electronic music expertise.. there's the occasional troll or arse/ass hole, just like any board, but it really seems like people care about each other for the most part, and treat this board as a sort of social microcosm, instead of simply just a place to discuss electronic music.. it’s much more of a community than any other board i have seen. which gets me back to my original point.. it's not just a temporary place.. it's a permanent home for so many of us.. crucial for survival... sorry.. i've lost what little point that i thought i had, and was trying to make.. …so…err.. discuss! or cheerfully insult me for my redundant, but honest ramblings.. |
