Yeah. Love the 60's avant-garde scene. Albert Ayler,
Coltrane, Pharoah Sanders, etc.

i've been really 'digging' into jazz lately.

Weather Report are my favorite band ever. they are simply
awesome. in my opinion, NO jazz band is ever close to them,
they are the only in this field.

also on my list:
Jaco Pastorius, Pat Metheny, John Patitucci, Eberhard Weber,
Wayne Shorter, Miroslav Vitous...mainly bass players here
(except Shorter and Metheny)...

...and Tom Jenkison, of course. after all, his music was the
reason i started listening to jazz and fusion stuff :)
