i actually think it's not a bad album at all. The first few tracks are a bit naf, but it kicks off quite well half way through. It might not be as great as Radioactivity or Trans Europe Express, but it is not all that bad... certainly better than Expo 2000

It's really grown on me...
Classic Kraftwerk really...I can see where some critics are coming from when they say they been overtaken by newer artists, but that point of view ignores the fact that Kraftwerk were true pioneers...and no-one does that ironic nostalgic-techno vibe quite like them...
it's kinda intriguing they've taken the route of going back to TDF and continuing with that vibe...I suspect it may have something to do with Ralfs(?) cycling accident; the album makes more sense when looked/listened to with that in mind....

I need to buy some Kraftwerk - it is true that Trans Europe Express is the best?

get 'computer world' first, you wouldn't be listening to this type of music if that never was released. All the others are essential but if you need to start get that one.

TEE is a great intro album....my personal fave mainly due to TEE itself...
(Can't go far wrong with Man Machine, Electric cafe etc..I'd steer clear of earlier stuff like Radioactivity as they tend to be a little too experimental & not quite Kraftwerk enough, if that makes any sense..)..

Radioactivity is my fave KW track, but as a whole I like Man Machine the best. The only track I don't listen to that much on Man Machine is 'Neon Lights'.
'Spacelab' is another fantastic track (also on Man Machine). They just sing "Spacelaaab" thru a vocoder and go loose on the synth pads.
