 | It's a wicked fucker. I'm glad my 2K box is patched, I'm behind a firewall and my wife is running 95.

So far none of my clients are affected - most are running
98se on the desktop, and the ones with nt and 2k servers
have them behind firewalls. Which won't help if someone
brings in an infected laptop and they have an unpatched
server - also I heard sometimes the patch doesn't install
 properly - zoinks!

 | When you get the 60 second countdown, change the system time to one year before. That way you have some time to fix
 things before it shuts down.

 | Okay, I got this last night. I have dial-up, so this only happens when I connect to the
 internet.

I got it to stop restarting thanks to Pomme de Terre's
advice of setting the RPC response to "take no action"

But MSBLAST.exe is still running in the background right
 now.

So how do you tell if your windows XP is 32bit or 64bit so I
 can get the correct patch?
