Friday, Aug 8th. I was at a party for my sisters boyfriend. Outside there was a circular table with about 12 bottles of liquor. My sisters boyfriend friend wanted to make FLAMING MOES shot. Which is 1/2 bailey 1/2 151. In little cafesito plastic cups he poured the baileys and I poured the 151 and passes it to the rest of the people standing around the table waiting for their drinks. The drink is called FLAMING MOE because once the 2 drinks are together you light it up, blow out the fire and take your shot. The shots were distributed by ME, and the guy was lighting them for everyone else...so its my turn to light my drink. Somehow, the fire not only lit my drink but my hands too. While passing the drinks to everyone a lot fell on my hands and just like that MY HANDS WERE ON FIRE. I dropped my drink, blew out my hands, blew out the table. The next thing I know my sisters boyfriend grabs my wrist and pulls me out of the crowd of people. My older sister grabs me and says "Dana, if there wasnt so many people around I would have jumped over that fucking table and got you" Once she said that I started crying, then she asked me how my hands felt and at that moment I felt a burning sensation...water water water water Now my fingers are all blistered =( |

that's awful,.. I hope you get better quickly, most damage around the hand area doesn't end up being permanent, the hand is particularly good at regenerating skin, so try not to worry about it too much, it'll be just fine |

Well they're hurt. its really hard to do anything because we obviously use our hands for everything. I have two hugh blisters on my middle fingers-I guess thats where the liquor fell most....it was fucking scary though my hands were blue and my finger tips red. =C ahhhh! |

i burnt my hands and a couch pretty good with a flaming dr. pepper once. but, the hangover the next day was stronger than the pains from the burns so i don't think i noticed much. |

it's a real drink. one beer in a mug one shot of amaretto with a little bit of bacardi 151 on top. light shot. drop shot into beer. chug beer. tastes just like dr. pepper. drink four or five of those, then wake up in the morning feeling like someone beat you with a rubber mallet... if you're lucky they didn't |

wow, that must have been scary! i pseudo-burnt my hands once... at my band's practice room there were candles everywhere, cause the lights didn't work. we were all drunk/high and one guy farted and i took a candle and put it behind his ass. Ofcourse it was a huge flame (huge fart..) and the wax got all over my hands. I was so wasted, that when i felt the wax on my hands, i thought it was my skin totally fucked up & burnt. so i started to feel it good and peeled the wax off thinking it was my skin..weird night. |
