OK my hearing has gone, but fuckin hell it was one hell of
a gig. He didn't have a light for me before he started but
I won't hold that against him. I thought the reports of his
bass guitar playing where just over excited fans, but he is
a loony on them.

Top class stuff :D

Nah, in Liverpool. I bet you are gutted you missed Aphex on
Thrusday :)

Some bitch started shouting at him to play something she
recognised tonight, I'd say it was about 90% new stuff that
he played :)

yeh, a bit gutted, but vibert's set was real good. aphex was
walking round the audience on wednesday.

at least 90% was unheard stuff, he only played 2/3 old
tracks from what i can remember. did he finish on come on my
selector for u?

The only complaint I could have is that he only performed
for one and a half hours. But thinking about the show that
is probably all my ears could take. Especially with his
piss taking at the end where he was trying to bust everyones
ear drums :)

Nah come on my selector was about two thirds of the way
through. I can't remember the name of the one he finished
on, it could have been bleep street, but I forget the name
of it now.

He fucking killed Come On My Selector though the way he
stopped it half way through and played the bass guitar for 5
minutes before finishing the track, amazing it was :D

i'm kinda disappointed that the gig starts quite
early...doors are at 7.
i like to make a night of it when i go to a gig. most
electronic things usually happen in a club and last till
3....but...ah well.

Mark Broom is really good, I saw him on the Autechre/LFO
tour ages ago and he played really well, allsorts of stuff
I've heard before and things that I still haven't heard
since.

OK if I had to but forward a bad point it had to be where
his laptop died on him for about 2 minutes where everything
went silent...not really his fault. The new tracks he
played are his best ever. Sometimes he seemed to go off on
one playing the bass. It didn't bother me but some people
around started complaining.

Imagine his old stuff, imagine his old stuff got faster,
harder and more jazzy, and that is what he played. Some of
it was just plain agressive goodness.
