i've been to Prague and you must walk along the Charles
Bridge during sunset, it's soooo lovely and there are
usually cool musicians playing and people selling arts &
crafts!

there is the bar (wish i could remember the name) it's like
a CAVE tho....underground......it's a TOTAL blast!!! i'm
sure if you ask about it peepz will know what you're talking
about, i can't imagine lots of cave like bars/dancing
places.

the food is GREAT (coffee is NOT great) and when i was there
my $$ went a LONG LONG WAY! which didn't suck.

they have cool bookstores that sell REALLY old books and
maps of the area, i recommend if you're into that to check
several out (i love the smell of old books) and well the
people are GREAT, very friendly, and make sure and check out
Vaclav Havels hacidenda.....hehehe it's a strange mix of
architecture styles that boggle the mind! there's also a
famous church near the presidents residence thats really old
it's in the gothic style......i wish you could see my
pictures!!!

watch out for the police they spot foreigners (prolly mostly
americans) and check and make sure you have everything, and
if you get caught speeding or parking in the wrong area,
you'll have to BARTER the ticket to get your car
back......it was a REAL drag!!!

if i went back.....i'd buy GARNETS, it's a blood red stone
and they were so inexpensive. i constantly kick myself that
i didn't get a ring or necklace or something.

oh oh.....try to stay in that hotel (i think it's called
Miro? or something like that) it used to be an dungeon, and
the rooms are like dungeons.....it's totally RAD!!!

you're gonna love it....i'm jealous

btw.......i LOVE your avatar.....when i first saw it i
thought it was a deer with antlers.....but i see what it is
now....the colour is just lovely! ahhhh but i
digress........heheheh

I'm a
czechoslovakian
straight up yo.
Actually, I'm only 1/4th Czech,
but I feel compelled to cling to any
identifiable heritage I have available to me

Go to a bar/club called "Wakata". It's a small dingy place
that reeks of marijuana smoke, but I saw a fucking cool dj
play an awesome drum/drill n bass set there last summer. I
can't remember they guys name but I think he was a local. Go
check it out if you're into that sort of thing!!!

I can't remember exactly where it was but it was on the west
side of the river. It was listed in a nightscene guide so
maybe if you look in those you'll find it.

Oh I just remembered they have a website: www.wakata.cz

wow. now thats a review :)

thanks for the good recommendations. i'm really looking
forward to going!

i'll leave my drugs at home, and we're not going to be
driving around there, so we should be ok. i just gotta be
careful with my camera and things like that.

i hope a week is enuff to see most things.

thanks!

btw, my avatar is a painting by john avon, and i really
recommend his site. all his stuff is great.
www.johnavon.com

occfactor: cheers, gonna check out that site now. from what
i've heard, finding good techno/drum&bass parties shouldnt
be much of a problem!
