I'm sure this has been mentioned before (but the search
isn't coming up with anything). To me the sample of
Epstein-Horshack Lids at the Planet Mu site sounds more than a
little like 54 Cymru Beats. Any takers?

I was all about to slag Snares off there, yes it does sound
like the same drum samples as richard used but...wooohaaa
that track is fucking amazing, maybe the best snares I ever
heard. I love the Mu sound at the moment, it has an old
school jungle type nastiness to it. Fucking top class.

Interesting. I'm not sure about that track in particular,
especially since it bears such a striking resemblance to 54
Cymru Beats with maybe some of the sounds changed. I
preferred Higgins, where Snares had set himself apart from
Aphex's sound. In fact none of Aaron's releases has made me
think of Aphex Twin except this one song.

That's because up to this point it is Tom J he ripped off.
:D

I think this track has more energy than 54 Cymru and to me
it doesn't sound like a rip off, just the same drum sounds,
which isn't a problem in my book :P
