This looks like an interesting phenomenon. Groups of up to a couple of hundred people organise to meet in a public place, perform some predefined actions and then disperse minutes later.

It's big in the US, but they even had a flashmob organised in honour of Matrix: Reloaded in Japan a while ago.

i saw a picture of one in the paper, half of the people were just standing there thinking they were really hip 'n cool. they idea is good, also the stuff with: go there, wait for further instruction, if the jokes would have been really good... if only this mb was read by thousands of people ;)
