I'm looking for online radio stations that do decent (128kb+) streams. Doesn't have to be any particular kind of music, or music at all.
I'm already aware of di.fm, soma.fm and the stuff at Shoutcast. Any other recommendations?

Hey... www.democracynow.org
I listen to it everyday. Independent news. Sometimes they dedicate the whole show to one topic - for example the U.S. invasion of Panama in the eightees, when they showed a long great documentary about the real story - not the CNN version.
Sometimes they have a lot of topics, direct interviews with people in Iraq and Palestine and stuff like that. They're amazingly fast with news and often speak about things way before they surface in the regular media.
Tune in today! Starts in an hour (14:00 in sweden - 13:00 in the UK i guess?)
You can watch the show in realtime (two different realplayer streams) as it is broadcast from New York, or you can listen later in the evening when they've laid out all the different streams and text.

just did, but it isn't helpful.
Did you even look at my station? The Deftones, C & C, TBS, The Used, are all "Major Market" type bands.
I'm hear to sell other bands, and while diversity might enhance some playlists, it will dillute my credibility at picking out nationwide music that just rocks good and steady.

i know, but the hard sell won't work on people here, if you insist on playing strictly rock then i wouldn't even bother mentioning the station on this board. trust me, you can play 100% music you're into, since i know you like more than just straight-forward, bass/guitar/drums/vocals rock, and get listeners. or you can stick to just this one type of music, which turns off a lot of people because it's such an old fashioned genre no matter how good the bands you're hyping are, and get 0 listeners. it's your decision, my advice would help you find a balance that not only would listeners here appreciate, but you would enjoy yourself. i have a hell of a fun time dj'ing mixed genres on my show.
