found a shop in my town that sells them either fresh, or in a "do it yourself" kit form. what are the legalities of this in the uk? |

You should be a little warey taking any large amounts of mushrooms too often/in public places - If the police even see your eyes you're fucked - You'll be banged up in a cell (which could do you long-term psyche damage!). If you accidentally take a little too much they can make you sketchey to be in public/busy places too I find - Small amounts can just be a great laugh though! Although - I have even had a bad trip before off very few - Just cos of some dilemma about not knowing whether to go to the pub or not - It sent my head into a spin! I had to get out of the city straight away - Head deep into the countryside... |

yes you can. i think you freeze them then crumble them up into a powder then roll a joint with it ust as normal. |

My experience of freezing them is they break down and a lot of it turns into liquid... It's actually how I first did them, some guy didn't know how to dry them so he freezed them - They still worked, but didn't freeze in the way you'd imagine... They went VERY soggy. I'd think you'd have to smoke quite a LOT to get any effect - I've not tried it. There's this legal stuff you can smoke called something like Salvia Divinorum (that is very mispelt!) maybe someone on here knows it? You smoke it in a bong (it's just leaves), a few big hits and it is much heavier than mushrooms from what i've seen - Short lived, but much more of a head trip. Then there's DMT, which I've still not tried - It's a VERY short trip, you smoke it, but your entire reality for that time becomes a dream - You have absolutely no grasp on the real world atall - Complete fantasy world... Had friends who've done it. |

psilocybe mushrooms (generically referring to any mushroom species containing psilocybin and various analogues) are illegal in the united states. this might not be strictly enforced in your area, but according federal law and all fifty states, mushrooms are illegal to cultivate or possess. only the spores (which contain no significant psychoactive substances) are strictly legal, except in california and georgia. psilocybin (including all analogues) is a scheduled substance. you *can* be arrested for possession if you pick them. |

Ah, I've not had much experience with salvie myself - Apparently you have to really go for it - Fill a bong cone and take four/five big blasts in a row from it... I remember seeing someone really hammered off it once - I think it came on a little too quick&strong, like being throw headfirst into a full-on acid trip. |

I think they've always sold 'em - I remember seeing grow your own kits and things quite a long time ago, advertised in Eternity magazine (I think). Shops that do hydroponics often do mushroom stuff aswell. Never seen fresh mushrooms for sale in a shop before though! Personally, I've always prefered E for getting mashed - I often get really wierd introspective vibes off mushrooms and acid - Although, prolly wouldn't touch E nowadays - That seems to mess with brain chemistry like nothing else! |
