Lol Zeus thos pics are kind of boring but it ain't yr fault,
B.

Ha al least in my pics I'm screaming or jumpoing or dancing
or sumn.
I think Prox has the BEST LIVE PHOT EVAR which he posted on
the mu board...the one with him doing the fucking mental
retarded face screaming into his PC mic. That face alone is
worth going to a show for. Except he also makes cool music
lol.

And don't get me started on Rockenjohnny - I'll never forget
how fucking drunk you were at the WAMI gig......before I got
booted offstage ahah

It's ok man, no one's gonna cut you to pieces for that, but
I think this might be the wrong board to seek help at ;-)

:D

someday i'll figure all this "music" stuff out.

and i'll be doin' that very same thing.

all of you guys. seriously. you're all very inspiring for
me, because i really have no fucking clue what's going on
with all this stuff...so...yeah. i dunno...it motivates me
to make an attempt to figure stuff out and improve myself.
(yeah...this was lame. i'll be going now) cheers. =]

my advice to any aspiring musicians is to just do it. a few
years ago i would have never thought of myself programming
beats n stuff. I had absolutely no idea. When i did start,
i just knuckled down and worked hard at it, shit i'm still
learning and hope i never stop.no one can really help you
learn because everyones set up is unique to what suits them.
The only thing you can do is experiment and you'll figure it
out.
Get in there and give it a go.

I think Macs have been the standard in the music industry
for years and are losing ground to Windows every day. If you
look at professional studios 10 years ago, ALL of them were
running Macs or Ataris. Now, if they have a ProTools setup,
I think most still run Macs, but you have the occasional
Windows setup. The difference is, alot of studios use PCs
alongside Macs.

Also, software used to be released Mac first before. Now
it's not always the case. There used to be Mac only
sequencers, they are a thing of the past, it's just not
economical anymore.

I wish I could do a live something some day.
But I would make more of a show, not just stand still...
perhaps dance a little, add a little story to the whole, and
of course add visuals, and do a lot of other stuff...
but that's just me.
but you do look kinda stiff up there. did people come to
listen or to see you play?

offline Zeus from San Francisco (United States) on 2003-08-07 09:36 [#00813034]
Points: 14042 Status: Lurker

no, it was more of a just people sitting around, drinking,
and talking.

I was background... which is why I dont feel bad about not
being more active

my friend who played before me, was doing up tempo stuff,
and he was standing, and kind of bouncing around... but no
one really was watching. They where there to chill, not to
listen intently.
