polygon all the way!

caustic does show off rdj's analogue gear, but the
programming is nothing special...

polygon is THE BEST mellow/x0x abulm i've ever heard... rdj
is a mellow fool, all his best work is mellow; SAW, SAW2,
polygon, ICBYD, (you know his mellow disco, no need to
repeat it). he does do some awesome drill...but his strength
(IMO), and the reason why I listen to him are for
the phenominal sound-design jobs he produces for his
soundscapes.

What made him popular/lose popularity was his ability to
circut bend analogue gear and produce wicked, never before
heard, sound-design. When he moved to digital, many people
were pissed (not really you guys :) [i like his digital side
too (i believe RJD abulm and after) due to better
programming, and the rise of drill] because circut bending
is a fucking art.

RDJ is this mellow, quarky, nerd who makes the phatest
sounds my ears have had the pleasure to hear. I feel that
polygon is probably HIS BEST, let alone extreamly better
than caustic, because it has great sound design, MAD-MAN x0x
work, phenominal sequencing (paint those soundscapes, bro!),
it's the most coherently pieced together abulm of his, and
it's vibe is sooo timless/classic polygon very much rivals
my collection of bach, bethoven, etc...(caustic is tooo
"ravered out," it sounds simply like "rdj rave! AT CLUB 4/4!
mindless beats!")
