 | Definitely Autechre. And I don't buy the ''you can't compare them, they're so different'' stuff, I hear a lot of
similarties in between them. And I'm a shameless comparer of
all things varied. Beatles > Richard Devine, Wayne Gretzky >
 Radiohead, Xltronic > Maxim Magazine.

 | They can be compared, but Autechre seems alot more concerned with concepts, structure, sound, and mechanically cloaked
emotion. Boards of Canada seems to me to have a very
different goal and different themes, ie. nostalgia,
childhood, religion, math. They definitely overlap, but BoC
seems to have a more definite agenda.
That being said, I like them both immensely.
