im glad you all have some expectations - more or less. but like i said before, do not have THAT big expectations - you might get disappointed. after all, its just a community built by fans for fans. it's all running and maintained on a spare time basis, which indeed limits the progress and developments of the site alot. as for the releasedate, it depends on various things, not only the technical issues need to be solved, but some other more strategic questions like "should we release it incrementially, or wait until its completely finished? or wait until section A and B are finished, then release the other sections when they are finished...". then when you least expect it, something more important events/issues happens in my real life, which are way more important then a site. i pay $100 each month for the site and that does not cover the actual domain fee, which are being paid on annual basis. with that in mind we can easily calculate thatat least 10 donations each month is needed to cover the site costs. and that has never happened so far, but would be a wonderful thing of course. |

Well personally my impatience died a long time ago, I just enjoy the message board for what it is now (ups and downs nonwithstanding of course) and anything else I consider a bonus. I fully endorse waiting till the whole thing is complete before wumping it online. |

It does not work that way. All artists will be "visible" regardless their amount of content. It's kinda complicated to explain without revealing too much in forehand, so I guess I'll leave the subject now. :) |

i would donate today if you accepted Firepay. i have no money in my pay pal account ever since paradise poker stopped dealing with them. you should have a donation drive like public access radio. with a 20 dollar donation you could give out a coffee mug or some lousy trinket. |
