Admittedly their singles are a lot stronger than their
albums, but their output is generally very good. They're one
of the best commercial danceacts IMO. Only prodigy are
really better. One of the few good bands that DJs in
'normal' nightclubs will usually play if you request it.

I'd suggest surrender actually, it's very dancey but in a
good way

I own the first ever Chemical Brothers record, they were
called the Dust Brothers back then.

It was good at the time, played pretty much everywhere but I
haven't really liked anything since, except a passing cheesy
interest in "hey boy, hey girl"

I still like "Galvanise", I especially love the crazy amazon
warrior like scream. Track 5 "Come Inside" is also good, I
can put up with the horrendous woman voice because it only
lasts a few seconds, the intro is pretty good for
"head-bangin"
At the climax it's very urban but still quite dancy and
trendy. Great use of the guitar timbres. It makes me want to
do some sort of gasoline centred crazyadventure mission. One
man with a ciggarette and his car on an abandoned dockyard
at dawn in summer, in miami.

"the Big Jump" a bit repetitive with the motif but still
quite funky. Makes me want to watch the female gymnastics at
the olympics except no rules and it's totally fluid with
continous body movements (preferably ranging across the
length of the whole body). The "uh uh uh" bit towards the
end made me think fondly of the first Jurrasic Park when
they try to get into the fat guy's computer with the wrong
password.

The rest aren't anything spectacular some are alright but
they're more like bridges between the good tracks.
