Hello to everybody, "unfortunately" my holidays in the
beautiful balearic island are finished and now I'm in my
workoffice as everyday.

I had great time there with a lot of party, much more than
in the past year.

As you know Ibiza is the land of house music and lounge, but
also techno, trance e progressive.
Well I don't like house, I like lounge (especially when
playend in Cafè del Mar in front of best sunset of the
world) and I re-discovered who I like progressive and
trans.

In the next post I'll write all dj set who I listened
something nice, something bad.

\/\/.

Here below my nights and dj set:

Disco Pacha: DAREL EMERSON and TOM MIDDLETON
Comments: I thought better, they played progressive house,
after 1 hour I went in the chill-out terrace to drink a
vodka red bull. Nothing special.

Disco Privilege: Cafè del Party. We had a pretty nice
night.

Disco Amnesia: I discovered the dutch TIESTO. Great
progressive techno really powerful.
Then PAUL VAN DYK, good music but somtime too much
commercial. I prefered TIESTO.

Disco El Divino: Defected in the House. Awful house music, I
spent all time to drink in the bar.

Disco Amnesia: SVEN VATH. I was curious to listen the king
of german techno and well he was pretty good, anyway his
techno was too much repetitive and dry for my tastes.
btw: During the night an England guy touch my AFX BLACK LOGO
SHIRT and said: "THIS IS COOL... THIS COOL...!"

Disco Space: CARL COX. Nice dj set with techno-house music
pretty good. People were crazy for him, he should be really
famous there. Anyway as you know I don't like house music.

Disco Amnesia: Cream: Dj set of TIESTO again, I like him and
his progressive techno. I listened a good remix of Street
Spirit by Radiohead, who drove crazy all England guys.

Mambo Club: PETE TONG
I listened him not much but he played same music of CARL
COX, more of less.

Here my parties, some good some not, anyway I had my
braindance survival kit with AFX, SQUAREPUSHER, PASSARANI,
AE LIVES, PLAID, AMON TOBIN, CHRIST, etc... so my ears was
safes ;)

Tiesto is a good (trance) DJ... He has made some nice
remixes aswell, his remix of Delerium's "Silence" is a real
nice piece of Trance...

maybe remix of "secret spirits" by radiohead is a creation
of Oakenfold

offline WooferAttack from Milano (Italy) on 2003-07-28 07:42 [#00796455]

it is, woofy... he did it in 1999 or 2000 and he calls it
"radio spirit." he asked radiohead if they would let him
release it as a 12" single and they said no. "i guess they
don't like techno" oakenfold said.

ok, i confirm after download. well, street spirit is
probably my fav radiohead track of all time and this
Oakenfold remix is pretty good.

The disco are incredibles, Amnesia has cannon who shoot a
jet of fresh air for refresh ppl. It's amazing! Then there's
the famous foam party who start at 5:00am then you should go
to dance in another disco (SPACE) who open at 8'00 am.

On Sunday disco SPACE open at 8:00am and close at 6:00am of
the day after. A lot of chemical pills there.

On Monday there's MANUMISSION an enormous party in the
biggest club of the world, the PRIVILEGE.
While you dance techno-trans, you can see actors and
acrobats make a theatrical opera in front of you. Every
Monday a different episode.

Disco are really espensive! For Van Dyk and Tiesto in
Amnesia I paid ¤ 40,00 (without free drinks) For a cocktail
you pay ¤ 10,00

Manumission party costs ¤ 43,00

My pocket wallet is empty now...

oh my god Tiesto is AWFUL!!

my housemates like him and they are pretty retarded..

one of them stuck a poster with his autograph on the
toilet-wall. seems pretty fitting, I guess.

music mag 'oor' here said the singing tracks were even more

sucked ass though, but the rest was really good
