BoC drumbeats are their better aspect, imo.

It's well known that BoC concertrate on melodies more then
beats (at least, that's what many say here)

But I think their beats are pretty impressive in places. I
mean, they're not too complex, but they're well produced and
pretty funky. Often, they keep me more interested than the
melody (like in High Scores, for example).

yap

i think the hipnotic power of boc has to be found in the
perfection of three aspects:

melody + drums + details

at last, the details is what i enjoy the most...

i agree theyre perfectionists, and it actually pays off. you
can tell they know what they like and dont settle for
anything half-hearted or sold-out

the beats on Geogaddi are pretty sweet... more so then
MHTRTC because they just sound cleaner, and fuller... and
that makes em funkier in places!

BOC suck. I know it, because they live near me and I've seen
them do it.

i like that song on music has the right to children, like
the fourth or fifth track or something like that, it is
pretty well just beats and voices used as beats. i find it
difficult to remember the names of the songs. i find it a
stroke of genius towards the end of this song where the
beats are punctuated with a rapid bass drum beat... it is
subtle, but very very present. it is such beautifully
crafted music, it is out of this world.

Yea, Telephastic Workshop. I always thought that was a
powerful track. Especially the part when that guy with the
low voice comes in and says "Order in Canada". I'm sure
thats not what he says but thats the only thing that i can
think it might be.

Yea, could be that too. unless i can get answers from BOC
themselves i'll stick to makin things what i think they
sound like. easier then stressin =)

subtle- not the best song of all time, but close.
