Well?

I tried to last night and I couldn't. To me anything could
be music in the right context and if you're willing to
listen.

music is what you want it to be, thats the joy in it, you
can include yourself in what you want, thats why there's
genres ect.

is its tommib from []pshr to moonlight sonata.... its ALL
music man...

whatever tickles your pickle

sounds fucking awesome and the weird thing i find is that so
many people ignore it.

Music is everywhere it's amazing.

When i was stoned it just turned into that kind of thing
anyway and it would always build up and do really
interesting things, It's kinda' weird what strong skunk does
for the imagination.

music is art, but how do you define art?

That's a whole different subject and i can never really be
bothered to define art because there is no definitive
definition because at the end of the day it's up to the
individual what their definiton is.

for a bit of late heidegger:

art is the struggle between earth and the world, it doesn't
aim to resolve it .. but maintains the struggle.

where earth signifies the uncanny mystery, the force behind
the "bud" from which everything springs [THE condition of
possibility], and world is a constructed concept/framework,
within which things show up as things.

It depends how deep or pedantic you want to go - music
doesn't have to be sonic, either. So you could end up just
saying:

Music Is

yeah, why bother trying to define it? My definition I guess
would just be that music is whatever I want to listen to as
music... so basically whatever I consider music...

no, personally I think music has to be sonic... that is one
thing, music is listened to... but it doesn't have to be
organized, with melody and stuff like a song... everyday
sounds can be music...

the actual definition in the textbook is "humanly-organized
sound". so music can really be any sound a person puts into
some kind of context. it's as simple as that.
