I've been wasting my days lately playing Cool Pool. I'm
always drained after a bout of creativity. It's called the
mugwamps.

I had work, then pub, then here. It has been an OK day. I
haven't had a chance to see my girlfriend but other than
that I have no real complaints. :P

just tell her straight - if she can't take it, that's her
malfunction - not your problem.

sage advice, honesty hurts, but that fades, false hopes last
forever

California tommorow

I was just discussing a similar topic today with my
sis-in-law. It all depends on whether you gave her the
impression that there was a certain type of the deeper kind
of emotional attachment involved. If not, then you're not to
blame. If you led her on to believe that it was more than
just a physical attraction gig, then OK, you may be in the
wrong. But, I can't say as I don't know the full details or
anything.

Echo, when you taking me sailing you bastard??

The immigration thingy place lost all his papers so he has
to start again. could take another 3 years or something.
Paul was gutted and this was part of the reason he left the
board. Hopefully everything will work out soon and he can
turn his back on the Brits and go to the land of the
perceived freedom.

tomorrow when I wake up, things will be great and I will
play some soccer with some friends, hopefully in
sunshine...

but yeah it might be a cloudy day tomorrow... but that's not
the point here... is it?

that's really very kind of you Blatant! :) Yep, it's my wife
who's American, and me who has the British Passport, not
that I've been passing any ports lately. I'm trying to see
it as there being some Cosmic reason for the delay.

maybe I'll just become a Dean Moriarty then (from Kerouac's
'On the Road' - forgotten his real name), and travel the
globe staying with friends from here and espousing Eastern
Philosophies and getting drunk and high and fucked ! Sounds
fun to me - I am from a race of Nomads after all !

I understand, well i think i do.

I've had a really odd couple of days really, I've been
really creative but i've also let someone down in the
process, I'm too scared to call her 'cos i think i've always
been a bit of a let down to her really and it would just be
another excuse.

yes, you have to shag them on the consulate floor :D

Things never go smoothly for me - I'm one of those people
where everything goes wrong and things take as long as they
possibly can. The first time I applied for the Residency
Visa, they returned my cheque after THREE months, because it
was in pounds sterling, and not dollars (even tho it was for
more than the specified amount). I guess I've just got used
to things never working - must be my Guardian testing my
limits of endurance!

I think it would be cool if I became the Travelling Marlowe,
popping up all over the place at the pads of fellow XLTers,
with my laptop, writing a book of my travels for
Xltronic.com/journalofamadman !

The problem with that being is i'll bump into her at some
point and she'll be like i miss you and stuff and i'll feel
guilty as shit, I always get sucked in and ultimatley it
always fucks with my head a shit load.

My own desire to do what i want to do really fucks with
myself at times!

I would really dig doing that - when I'm in America, I plan
to tourit in a '73 mustang - I've already promised a couple
of people I'll drop in on them - I'll add you to the list
Blatent ;)

And Lee, me and Yavo and Emma were planning on meeting up
before I leave the country - if we're not all drawing our
pensions by then (like I'll ever get a job), we should
arrange a get together somewhere - that would be a great
send-off !
