I've read about this and there seems to be no easy way
around it. You'll probably have to split the file into audio
and video, speed up the sound a fraction, and then join the
files back together.

But more often the sound is just delayed so that you can
correct it by moving the audiostream back or forth a second
or two.

There can be other problems as well... Is your computer fast
enough? If you have Win XP or 2000 you can go to the program
manager and set the priority of the player to high, that can
also sort out the problems.

do some searches on google and see what it says.

last resort is simply to find another version of the movie
and get that one.

Many use a free program called "Virtual Dub" but it's still
no easy thing to pull off.
