ABB 4 mix up somewhere

1010-1111-10 from \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Newfoundland, CANADA on 2001-10-31 03:40 [#00047320]

Ok on this website the track listing for ABB4 is:

01. Elephant Song [6:21]
02. Gibbon [5:05]
03. Cuckoo [6:04]
04. Sloth [8:18]
05. Knievel* [0:28]

but on my cd copy Gibbon and Cuckoo are switched. Now tell
me is the cd wrong or is this webpage wrong.

DblHeLX from moon on 2001-10-31 05:08 [#00047340]

ok, here we go again.
none of those track names are absolutely official anyways.
they were given by some fans and the word spread.
same with SAW 2. the songs can be related to the pictures,
but there still aren't any official track titles for the
songs.

Xanatos from NYC on 2001-10-31 05:09 [#00047342]

I have a feeling that cuckoo is the official aphex-titled
name for the song, are you sure about that?

DblHeLX from moon on 2001-10-31 05:10 [#00047343]

wait!
did you get a tracklisting ON the cd case??
mine came in a thick paper sleeve with no track titles
listed. hmmmm

DblHeLX from moon on 2001-10-31 05:11 [#00047344]

Additional info
Unofficial song titles made up by Gonzalo Merchan and
Christopher Miller.

check the explore page.

1010-1111-10 from \\\\\\'s Newfoundland, CANADA on 2001-10-31 05:14 [#00047346]

ok your misunderstanding me. I didnt get a track list on the
cd. Its just that the track order on this webpage does not
match my cd. It starts off with that "elephant" sounding
song, then to the bird sound song, then the dump dump dump
dump beat song, then the mellow song, then the sound clip at
the end. The one on this site has the dump dump dump beat
song listed as track two whereas its actually track 3 on my
cd. The bird song is track 3 here but its track 2 on my cd.
I was only using the track names as references.

DblHeLX from moon on 2001-10-31 05:17 [#00047348]

yeah, its the same on mine.
i think the 2nd track reminds me more of a cuckoo/chicken
also.

1010-1111-10 from \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Newfoundland, CANADA on 2001-10-31 05:51 [#00047349]

ok play the second track on your cd. Do birds chirp in it or
does it have the Dump Dump Dump beat?

DblHeLX from moon on 2001-10-31 06:03 [#00047351]

bird chirps and chicken beats.
the third track is the hardcore one.

1010-1111-10 from \\\\\\\\\'s Newfoundland, CANADA on 2001-10-31 06:29 [#00047354]

yes ok good

we have established that there is an error in the Analogue
Bubblebath 4 page

DblHeLX from moon on 2001-10-31 06:39 [#00047356]

or we both by some rare accurance both have flawed discs.

Phobiazero from Sweden on 2001-10-31 07:25 [#00047371]

I'll check it. Prolly my mistake.

Jimmy on 2001-11-01 11:43 [#00047731]

it was intended to be on AB5, but didn't make it, I guess.

yes

but the problem is solved. it is cuckoo (6.04') in track 2
for all releases, its just that there was a mistake in some
websites, such as allmusic.com, discogs.com and probably in
the old aphextwin.nu

The Official Aphex Discogs says that all vinyl releases have
Cuckoo as track #3 and all slipcase CD releases have it as
track #2......

Damn I dont even remember posting this thread, oh so long
ago.

BTW 1010-1111-10 was an old nick of mine. As proof you can
match the binary numbers to normal numbers, then to letters.
IT will spell JOB
