I know we've been here before but I kinda grew up on them.
And I know they're not hip but its nice to return to them
every now and again.

Views please.

terrible noodley indie nonsense... I liked one track though
at some indie disco when I was a young 'un.

Indie nah its certainly not indie. Yeah I can agree when you
say its noodly though. Truthfully if I hadn't heard them 10
years ago or whatever and someone played them to me now I'd
probably dislike them or whatever but one has a fondness for
it 'cause it brings back memories etc.

There was one that I liked that they played at a student
indie night that I'd go to sew my royal seed. It was quite
funky in a white indie boy way and had this fast
arpeggiating synth thing.

'Kick Muck' is probably their most famous track could have
been that.

I just had a look at their site and I thought it was sploosh
but now kick muck sounds familiar? I slightly remember
stumbling up to the dj to see what it was.

First time I heard the Ozrics was new years eve '91 or
something at a party in a recording studio. I was well
impressed.

A year or so later I got a copy of one of their albums on
tape but I have no idea what happened to it.

Then, about a month ago I found some CD's going cheap in a
local record shop.
2 albums in one 2 CD package for £6.
Can't argue with that I thought so I grabbed one and stuck
it on the stereo..

Aaaaaaaargh! AWFUL eighties drum sounds and production!
Fair enough, but also the music seemed shallow and
pointless. It was very uninteresting and I couldn't see
myself listening to it again so I got my money back even
though it was so cheap.

Basically, they would be ok at a festival but I wouldn't
listen to their albums.

Gong are for more interesting musically.

Sorry Ozrics :/

yep they are possibly the least hip group on the planet..
but still I have got down to their hippy grooves more than
once at some festival or other.

Eat Static were good live (Ozrics acid / trance outfit)
